True transformation goes beyond surface-level changes—it requires a blend of receptivity, skilled facilitation, and intentional focus. In this article, I’ll walk you through the foundational principles that make my coaching process a powerful catalyst for lasting growth.
First, let me share a few foundational beliefs that guide my coaching approach:
1️⃣ The depth of transformation depends on three things: your receptivity levels, the skills of the facilitator, and the intention we hold together for the resolution we are seeking. All of these play an essential role in the process.
2️⃣ Receptivity cannot be forced—neither by you nor by the facilitator. Even if you logically want to be more open, resistance can still arise in subtle ways. So, work at a pace that feels right for you, and trust that your readiness will grow with time and practice.
3️⃣ Gentle and consistent self-work is the key to increasing receptivity.
With this in mind, let me simplify and explain how I structure the coaching process.
I work through three layers:
Primary Layer: Foundational
At this level, we address the thoughts and feelings that might be blocking your clarity. If possible, we aim to uncover core beliefs formed during unpleasant events or experiences. Once we identify these blocks, we take actionable steps to realign your energy with your goals.
For example, imagine you feel stuck in a relationship and say, “I don’t know what’s best for me. I don’t have any clarity about where this is heading.”
From a systemic phenomenology lens, this feeling of “not knowing” may reflect a deeper belief: I feel I don’t know enough. This feeling could be creating mental fog and confusion.
To address this, I might suggest exercises like journaling prompts or non-dominant hand writing to connect with your subconscious mind and clear the fog. Sometimes, mental fog leads to what I call “mental spiraling,” where we get trapped in a cycle of negative thoughts. In such cases, physical movement can help. For instance, decluttering a small space like a drawer or wardrobe can symbolically clear mental clutter and bring clarity.
These foundational steps shift your energy and provide a starting point for deeper work. If needed, I also incorporate simple somatic processes that release stored tension from your nervous system without overwhelming it.
Secondary Layer: Intermediate
At this stage, we explore deeper emotional layers. Often, unresolved past wounds surface and need to be healed.
Returning to the earlier example, the thought “I don’t know enough” may stem from a deeper feeling of “I’m not enough.” This belief could have taken root in your subconscious during childhood or by someone influential in your life, like a parent , sibling or a teacher. This sense of inadequacy creates inner conflict, fuelling indecisiveness and keeping you stuck.
Here, we work on healing these emotional wounds, often using inner child work to release trapped energy and create emotional balance.
At this layer, we focus on identifying and integrating fragmented parts of yourself—those aspects of you that may feel disconnected or lost. The goal is to bring them into harmony and empower you to move forward.
Now, the third layer – Tertiary Layer or the Advanced layer.
The deepest layer I work with is the intergenerational lens, which looks at patterns passed down through your family system. This involves recognising that, as part of your lineage, you inherit not only physical traits but also emotional patterns, mental scripts, and even unresolved traumas and gifts.
For example, recurring challenges in relationships—like toxic dynamics or struggles to find a suitable partner—might be linked to family patterns passed down through generations. At a subconscious level, you may be repeating cycles of exclusion or mistreatment that go beyond your personal experiences.
Addressing this requires sensitive and profound work, often involving a deeper understanding of your family history. This advanced layer is best explored through 1:1 coaching sessions, where we can delve into your unique story. Together, we uncover the untold narratives of your ancestors—those seeking a voice, waiting to be heard, waiting to be seen and acknowledged. This process involves tapping into the morphogenetic field, drawing insights from collective consciousness, and integrating the wisdom within. Words alone cannot capture the depth of this experience. It is something you must undergo to truly realise the transformation, wisdom, and profound shifts it can bring into your life.
Coaching is a collaborative journey where we realign your energy with your aspirations. It’s not just about reaching a goal—it’s about transforming into the person who is fully ready to embrace and live their highest potential.
Cheering you on as you step into your highest potential!
